"Okay, I'm going to be the most honest I've been in a while. Kate you are magnificent. Your unbelievably generous, sincere, caring, loving, smart, funny, and not to mention gorgeous. It would be absolutely ridiculous for someone not to just snatch you away before anyone else can. And your not aware of how much time i've spent thinking why I haven't done that already. What I've come up with is this: the love that I feel for you now is greater than any other attachment I've had to another human being, and this terrifies me. Like, I pretty much stress over watching my every move as to never let that change. I don't know what I would do, and the thought is horrifying. I'm so worried that, being the horrible boyfriend I've been in the past, becoming closer would ruin our friendship, and the fact I've not already risked that says a lot. If I had the least bit of confidence that I could be what you wanted, trust me, it would have taken me maybe a week to make you mine (figuratively of course xD).
